La Bastide de Laurence, Provence

There are weddings we design, and then there are weddings we are entrusted with, where every stem, every stitch, every printed thread carries a story that isn't ours to embellish, only to honour. Katie and Buck's wedding in Provence was the latter, and the flowers were never a backdrop to that story, they were integral to telling it.

A Renaissance world in bloom.

The design took its cue from the Renaissance, rich, painterly, abundant, and nowhere was that more immersive than the triple moon arch, built to form a tunnel of flowers the couple would walk through on their way to the altar. We layered rose upon rose, in a depth and density meant to fully surround rather than simply frame, so that by the time Katie and Buck reached the top of the aisle, they had walked entirely through flowers to get there.

That same abundance carried down into the tablescape, which stretched along a lavender and olive aisle in the heart of the gardens of La Bastide de Laurence, florals overflowing the length of the table, paired with Katie's own hand-printed linens. Together they were, quite simply, the epitome of luxury: nothing held back, nothing understated, every inch considered.
